Zorbing in the UK
Also known as Sphereing, Orbing, Globe Riding, zorbing gift experience involves rolling down a sloped hill in a giant inflatable ball made of transparent plastic. It’s been described by many as being in a human sized hamster ball.
Zorbing was invented in 1994 by Andrew Akers and Dwane van der Sluis in New Zealand, these giant inflatable balls were originally designed for rolling/walking on water but they decided that rolling down a hill will be more exhilarating. From design to conception, the activity of zorbing started in Rotoroa, New Zealand has gone from strength to strength and it’s experienced by many across the world.
